Classic Green Giant Rooftop Sign Project

Join us as we embark upon the restoration process of two of Green Giant Rooftop signs.

Spearheaded by local Green Giant retirees and Le Sueur residents, funds are being raised to restore the iconic rooftop signs; one featuring the Niblets and the other featuring Peas!

In partnership with: Le Sueur County Historical Soceity, owners of the signs; Ney Nature Center, operator of the W. W. Mayo House which was home to three generations fo Cosgroves: C.N. Cosgrove: a founder of the Green Giant Company and his son Ward Cosgrove and grandson Bob Cosgrove, Green Giant Executives; and the City of Le Sueur, where the plan is to locate the signs, one in Mothers Louise Park and the other in Pierre Le Sueur Park.

The estimated project costs are approximatly $100,000, this is a full restoration of the enamal work and paint on the signs and construction of a suport structure, foundation and lighting for the signs in thier respective locations.
