Thank you to JT Callahan of Le Sueur and Tim Marsolais of Belle Plaine for their completed Eagle Scout projects at the NNC this summer. JT built benches and a platform for an amphitheater behind the education building at the Kahlow homestead. Tim and his crew gave outbuildings at the Kahlow homestead a much-needed painting.

The Changing Seasons

I jogged and walked the upland trails at the Ney Nature Center today. There was a bright sun which made it a bit on the hot side. A question I am frequently asked is how many people are using the Ney Nature Center. The County Commissioners are interested as a Le Sueur County Park. The Ney Environmental Education Foundation Board is interested in respect to our education programs and field trips. Visitors are just interested. Read More »
