More information
The event will start at the Le Sueur Boat Launch (32564 MN-93, Le Sueur, MN 56058). Check-in and drop off your boat with us, then drive to the end of the course in Henderson (Minnesota New Country School Parking lot – 210 Main St, Henderson, MN 56044). There will be a bus there to bring you back to the launch start, so when you are done with the river trip, you will have your car waiting for you.
Along the way, staff members and volunteers will be posted, some on the river to assist if needed, and others will have snacks and drinks or present an education program if you’re interested! Otherwise, sit back and enjoy a relaxing and fun paddle down the river.
This paddle will be rain or shine (unless there are any major weather events or dangerous conditions). If Ney does cancel the event due to weather, we will make that decision 24 hours prior and contact participants via email.

Rentals
There are a limited number of kayaks available for rental. With those we will provide free lifejackets – please note the lifejacket sizes needed for your group. You will need to buy a ticket for each member of your group IN ADDITION to the boat rental.

Kayaks ($25) = fit 1 person
If you do not rent a boat, you will need to bring your own in order to participate.

Safety
This event is for all ages, but we ask that anyone under 16 years old participate with an adult. We also recommend that for the safety of yourself and the others in your group, that you bring a lifejacket to wear throughout your river trip! We will have staff & volunteers along the course to assist you as needed.
