Our Very Own Green Living Expo in Honor of Earth Day
The staff and volunteers of the Ney Nature Center invite you to the first annual Earth Day event. Join us April 26th 2014 from 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. for fun, food, and education, all in celebration of our exquisite Earth. This is a perfect Saturday activity for families and anyone interested in expanding their knowledge about how to live more environmentally consciously. We will have snacks and outdoor activities, as well as games and vendors which are sure to keep guests of all ages entertained.
The Ney Nature Center is a 446-acre Environmental Learning Center and Le Sueur County Park located on the bluffs of the Minnesota River near Henderson, Minnesota. The property is adjacent to the old East Henderson depot and village site, which has public access to the Minnesota River. It is open to the public for hiking, birdwatching, and X-C skiing. It also serves as a regional teaching station for NNC Programing, local school groups, and Community Education. We also have facilities available for rent for events such as weddings, private parties, and meetings.
