Fall Festival

– Making your own apple cider to try

– Solving a 2-acre prairie maze

Candlelight Trails
Friday, February 12th, 2027
6:00pm-9:00pm
Free event! Enjoy this beautiful winter night snowshoeing, hiking, or skiing by candlelight along our peaceful trails. Stop in the education building to say hi and grab a hot beverage or a s’mores bundle to take with you to the fire pit.
Pricing for add-ons:
Hot beverage – $2
S’mores Bundle (2 s’mores) – $3
Snowshoe or XC Ski Rental – $5/members or $8/non-members
All proceeds for add-ons are a fundraiser in support of Ney Nature Center and must be purchased inside the education building. We take cash, card, or check! No charge to walk/snowshoe/ski through the lit trails with your own (or no) equipment.
No registration is required, but snowshoes and skis are first-come, first-serve. No rentals past 8:30pm and you must return by 9pm. Beverages and s’mores are available until sold-out.
Tree Jamboree

Celebrate the beauty of nature at this family-friendly event featuring community organization tables and live music. Participate in a story walk, earth crafts, tree-planting, and more. Whether you’re already a nature lover, or just looking for something fun to do, the Tree Jamboree offers something for everyone. Join us as we come together to celebrate our planet!
