Alright Maple Syrup enthusiasts! We are just wrapping up our 2026 season and are happy to tell you that we have freshly bottled syrup for sale in the Education Building. Our totals for the season are as follows:
- 751 gals of syrup collected
- Two batches finished so far.
- Batch #1 was a total of 204 gals of raw sap.
- Batch #2 was a total of 320 gals of raw sap.
- Batch #3 is still being processed.
- A total of thirty three 16 oz bottles of syrup from Batch 1 are ready to sell.
- An additional eleven bottles were set aside for our Legacy Bottle holders.
- Legacy Bottles are an investment in the future of our Maple Syrup programs at Ney. By purchasing a Legacy Bottle that first year, holders are supplying critical funds to help keep our operation going. In return, they receive a bottle of Maple Syrup each subsequent season.
- The taps were pulled earlier this week.

Many thanks go out to our dedicated crew of Maple Syrup volunteers! Thanks to your efforts with collecting sap, hauling and splitting wood, setting up equipment, and overall support, we were able to have an amazing season. We truly appreciate all of your hard work!

We hope that you had a chance to see our sap bags while you were walking the trails, or our evaporator as we were cooking sap down into syrup by the main building. Remember to stop by soon to get your own bottle to take home. 🙂
